Roger Mooking is a Trinidadian-Canadian chef, musician, and television host. Mooking is the host of the television series '' Man Fire Food'' (2012 to present). He is also the host and co-creator of ''Everyday Exotic''. Both programs aired on the Cooking Channel and Food Network Canada. He also appears on '' Heat Seekers'' with Aarón Sanchez on Food Network. Chopped Canada
''Chopped Canada'' is a Canadian reality cooking television series based on the US series ''Chopped''. The program pits four chefs against each other as they compete to win $10,000 and the title of Chopped Canada Champion. It first aired on January 2, 2014 and last aired on February 11, 2017. In May 2017, the show's producers announced that Food Network Canada had cancelled the show. Format In each episode, four chefs go head to head and compete to create a delicious three course meal. The competition is divided into three rounds: "Appetizer", "Entrée", and "Dessert". In each round, the chefs are presented with a mystery basket containing four ingredients, and the challenge is to incorporate those mystery ingredients into an appetizing dish. Ivana Santilli
Ivana Daniela Santilli is a Canadian R&B singer and multi-instrumentalist, who has recorded as a solo artist and as a member of the 1990s R&B/pop trio Bass is Base. Early life and career Santilli was born to an Italian father and a French-Canadian mother. Santilli's earliest performances began at age 9 playing trumpet for her father's Italian wedding band in Toronto. Ivana is also fluent in both Italian and French. Career During her schooling, she hooked up with her first band, Bass is Base, a band which gained national attention. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. Pranam "Chin" Injeti (born April 9, 1973 in India) is a Canadian singer, musician, and music producer. He got his start as a founding member of Juno Award-winning group Bass is Base. Bass is Base was a Canadian Contemporary R&B, R&B group based in North York, Ontario. History In 1993, Chin Injeti and Ivana Santilli were in the music group Syndicate 305. At the 1993 Music West conference in Vancouver, Injeti and Santilli met MC Mystic (Roger Mooking), who at the time was in a group called The Maximum Definitive. A few months later, Mystic invited the pair to back him for his group's performance at the iHeartRadio MMVAs, Canadian Music Video Awards. The trio then formed the group Bass is Base that year with Injeti on bass guitar, bass, Santilli on electronic keyboard, keyboards, and Mystic on percussion. The Juno Awards, more popularly known as the JUNOS, are awards presented annually to Canadian musical artists and bands to acknowledge their artistic and technical achievements in all aspects of music. New members of the Canadian Music Hall of Fame are also inducted as part of the awards ceremonies. The Maximum Definitive
The Maximum Definitive was a Canadian hip hop trio, active in the early 1990s. They are noted for their single "Jungle Man", which was a Juno Award nominee for Best Rap Recording in 1993. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta, the group was formed in high school in the late 1980s, when Justin "Darp Malone" Ryan saw David "Click" Cox win a dance battle. Darp had been performing and (dance) battling with Jerome Lewis; Click joined them and they added two more dancers, a DJ and a female vocalist. The name was chosen from a thesaurus, mainly because "TMD" is an effective acronym.
