Roger Hallmark (August 9, 1946 – November 29, 2014) was an American country music singer from Cullman, Alabama; he actively recorded from the early 1970s until the early 1980s. His work was done in Birmingham, Alabama, and included an album of fight songs for the Crimson Tide Football team entitled "Alabama Football Songs." Cullman is the largest city and county seat of Cullman County, Alabama, United States. It is located along Interstate 65, about north of Birmingham and about south of Huntsville. The Alabama Crimson Tide football program represents the University of Alabama (variously Alabama, UA, or Bama) in the sport of American football. American football (referred to simply as football in the United States and Canada), also known as gridiron, is a team sport played by two teams of eleven players on a rectangular field with goalposts at each end. He is considered by many to be one of the greatest college football coaches of all time, and best known as the head coach of the University of Alabama football team.
