Roger Carr
Roger Dale Carr (born July 1, 1952) is an American former professional football wide receiver who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Baltimore Colts. He was selected to the Pro Bowl after the 1976 season, during which he caught 43 passes and led the NFL in both receiving yardage with 1,112 yards, and yards per catch, with 25.9. College Having played basketball briefly in high school, along with track and field, Carr was discovered by Louisiana Tech track coach Jim Mize. Carr did play on the school's football team, but as a guard and punter. Maxie Lambright
Maxie Thomas Lambright (June 23, 1924 – January 28, 1980) was the head coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs football team from 1967 to 1978 and the Louisiana Tech University athletic director from 1970 to 1978. He led Louisiana Tech to three Division II National Championships and seven conference championships. Lambright coached the legendary quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Lambright played college football at Southern Miss from 1946 to 1948 and graduated in 1949 from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. A native of McComb, Mississippi, Lambright later coached from 1955 to 1958 at Bolton High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. Frank Kush
Frank Joseph Kush (January 20, 1929 – June 22, 2017) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Arizona State University from 1958 to 1979, compiling a record of 176–54–1. Kush was also the head coach of the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 1981, the National Football League's Baltimore/Indianapolis Colts from 1982 to 1984, and the Arizona Outlaws of the United States Football League in 1985. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 1995. Kush is of Polish descent and was inducted into the National Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame. Bertram Hays Jones (born September 7, 1951) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Rams. At Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana, he was given the nickname, "The Ruston Rifle." Jones played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU).
