Rogelio Armenteros
Rogelio Armenteros Peña (born June 30, 1994) is a Cuban professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. In 2014 he signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent. He made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut for Houston in 2019. Career Houston Astros Armenteros played for Industriales of the Cuban National Series in 2011/2012. In September 2014, he signed with the Houston Astros as an international free agent. Armenteros made his professional debut 2015 with the Tri-City ValleyCats and was later promoted to the Quad Cities River Bandits; in 61 total innings pitched between both teams, he posted a 3-2 record and 3.69 ERA. In 2016, he pitched for Quad Cities, Lancaster JetHawks and Corpus Christi Hooks, pitching to a combined 8-6 record and 3.53 ERA in 26 games (22 starts). Round Rock Express
The Round Rock Express are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. They are located in Round Rock, Texas, and play their home games at the Dell Diamond. The team is named for Baseball Hall of Famer Nolan Ryan, who was nicknamed "The Ryan Express." Ryan, along with son Reid Ryan and Don Sanders make up the team's ownership group, Ryan Sanders Baseball. The Express were established as a Double-A team of the Texas League (TL) in 2000. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. Each AFL team is affiliated with five teams in Major League Baseball (MLB), and each MLB team provides seven players from their Minor League Baseball affiliates, yielding 35-man rosters. 2023 World Baseball Classic Qualification
The qualifying round of the 2023 World Baseball Classic will be held in September 2022. Teams which participated at the 2017 World Baseball Classic automatically qualified for the 2023 tournament. The qualifying round is to consist of two tournaments to be participated by six teams each. The qualifiers were planned to be hosted in Tucson, Arizona in the United States but after the delay, the qualifier hosts were changed to the cities of Regensburg, Germany and Panamá City, Panama. Winners and runners-up of each of the two tournaments were to qualify for the 2023 World Baseball Classic. The first qualifying tournament was originally scheduled to be held from March 13–18, 2020 and the second from March 20–25, 2020, before the qualifiers' postponement was announced on March 12, 2020 by Major League Baseball due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Spain national baseball team is the national team of Spain. It is governed by the Royal Spanish Baseball and Softball Federation. The Guerreros de Oaxaca (English: Oaxaca Warriors) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico. Their home field is Estadio Eduardo Vasconcelos. History In October 1995, a group of businessmen, led by Alfredo Harp Helú, learned that the Charros de Jalisco were unable to continue participating in the league. These businessmen saw the opportunity to move the team from Guadalajara to the city of Oaxaca, and the project was officially presented at a meeting of directors of the Mexican League. The Mexican League (, ) is a professional baseball league based in Mexico and the oldest running professional league in the country. The league has 18 teams organized in two divisions, North and South. Teams play 114 games each season.
