Rodrigo Quiroga
Rodrigo Daniel Quiroga (born March 23, 1987) is an Argentine volleyball player member of the Argentina men's national volleyball team and Polish club Jastrzębski Węgiel. He participated at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Rodrigo won the silver medal at the South American Championship in 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 and the gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. Personal life He is nephew of Raúl Quiroga, who is bronze medalist of the Olympic Games 1988 and son of Daniel Quiroga - a former volleyball player. His brother Gonzalo also plays volleyball. Volleyball At The 2015 Pan American Games
Volleyball competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto was held from July 16 to 26 at the Direct Energy Centre (Exhibition Centre). Due to naming rights the arena was known as the latter for the duration of the games. A total of eight men's and women's teams competed in each respective tournament. Argentina Men's National Volleyball Team
The Argentina national volleyball team represents Argentina in international men's volleyball and is controlled by the Argentine Volleyball Federation (''Federación del Voleibol Argentino'' in Spanish, and abbreviated "FeVA"). The Argentina team made their international debut at the South American Championship in Rio de Janeiro in 1951, claiming fourth place. They competed in their first World Championship 1960 in the same city, where they finished 11th. The 2013 Men's South American Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the tournament, organised by CSV. It was held in Cabo Frio, Brazil from 6 to 10 August 2013. The top two teams qualified for the 2014 World Championship and the champions also qualified for the 2013 World Grand Champions Cup. South American Men's Volleyball Championship
The Men's South American Volleyball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national volleyball teams of South America, organized by the Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol, CSV). The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1967 Men's South American Volleyball Championship, 1967 they have been awarded every two years. The competition has been dominated by Brazil men's national volleyball team, Brazil, which won 33 of the 34 editions. The only tournament not won by Brazil was the 1964 championship, when the team did not compete due to 1964 Brazilian coup d'état, political turmoil in the country.
