''Rodolfo Rojas D.T.'' was a 1997-1998 Argentine telenovela, starring , China Zorrilla, Pepe Soriano and Patricia Sosa. It lasted for two seasons. Carlos Calvo plays the main character, Rodolfo Rojas, a football manager (D.T. is an acronym in Spanish for "Director técnico", a football manager). China Zorrilla
China Zorrilla (; born Concepción Matilde Zorrilla de San Martín Muñoz; 14 March 1922 – 17 September 2014) was an Uruguayan theater, film, and television actress, also director, producer and writer. An immensely popular star in the Rioplatense area, she is often regarded as a "Grand Dame" of the South American theater stage. After a long career in the Uruguayan theater, Zorrilla made over fifty appearances in Argentina's film, theater and TV. Her career took off in Uruguay in the 1950 and 1960s, later she settled in Argentina, where she lived for over 35 years and was popular on TV, theater, and cinema. At 90, she retired and returned to Uruguay, where she died in 2014. In 2008, Zorrilla was invested Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government and in 2011, the Correo Uruguayo (the national postal service in Uruguay) released a print run of 500 commemorative postage stamps dedicated to her. Pepe Soriano
José Carlos "Pepe" Soriano (born September 25, 1929) is a prominent Argentine actor, director, and playwright. Early life Soriano was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Enrolling at the prestigious University of Buenos Aires Law School, he entered one of the university's numerous theatre groups and, leaving law school to devote himself to the theatre, he produced his first work, ''El chaleco encantado'' ("The Enchanted Sweater") in 1950, among four other works he completed and staged while in school. Soriano debuted professionally in a production of '' A Midsummernight's Dream'' at the renowned Colón Theatre, in 1953. Patricia Sosa (born January 23, 1956) is an Argentine singer and actress. Biography Born in Buenos Aires, Patricia Sosa began her career in 1975, with the cover band Nomady Soul. She created the rock band La Torre with her husband Oscar Mediavilla in 1981, which was an immediate success, and played in the 1982 B.A. Rock. The band made several international tours, even to the Soviet Union. Patricia Sosa left the band in 1990, to start a solo career. Her first CD was self-titled, and followed by a live EP. Her second CD, "Luz de mi vida", became gold 25 days after release, and platinum in three months. It received 5 nominations for the ACE awards. In 1994, she appeared as a guest artist on Plácido Domingo's Grammy-nominated album, ''De Mi Alma Latina''.
