Rodolfo Esteban Cardoso
Rodolfo Esteban Cardoso (born 17 October 1968) is an Argentine former football midfielder who spent the majority of his playing career in Germany. He was head coach of the reserve team of Hamburger SV between 2008 and 2014. He was most recently the assistant coach of Hamburger SV. Club career Born in Azul, Cardoso started his professional playing career in 1987 with Estudiantes de La Plata. In 1989, he was signed by German side FC Homburg. He went on to play for SC Freiburg and Werder Bremen before joining Hamburger SV in 1997. Between 1998 and 1999, he returned to Argentina on loan to Boca Juniors and then Estudiantes de La Plata. Azul, Buenos Aires
Azul (, English: "blue", for the stream Azul, which flows through the area) is the head city of the Azul Partido, located at the center of the Buenos Aires Province in Argentina, 300 km south of Buenos Aires. The DFL-Ligapokal (, officially Premiere Ligapokal , previously DFB-Ligapokal ) or the ''German League Cup'' was a German football competition that took place before the start of the Bundesliga season, featuring the top five teams of the previous Bundesliga season and the winners of the DFB-Pokal in Germany. The cup was known as the Premiere-Ligapokal after 2005, when Premiere, a German pay television network, took up sponsorship of the competition. The Ligapokal was not held in 2008 due to schedule crowding caused by the UEFA Euro 2008. Instead, the German Supercup was held on 23 July. The Ligapokal was not held in 2009 either, due to the German Football Association's decision to abolish it.
