''Rocky Legends'' is a fighting video game, it is the sequel to the 2002 video game ''Rocky''. It was released in 2004, by Venom Games. The game is based on the ''Rocky'' franchise. The events of the game take place before the films and in between. In the game the player can take control of Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang or Ivan Drago and witness their early careers before their famous encounters. Gameplay ''Rocky Legends'' has six different gameplay modes to choose from including Career, Exhibition, Tournament, Survival, Training, and Practice. Players can also use their in-game winnings to buy and unlock extras. Career Career mode allows the player to select one of the major characters of the first four ''Rocky'' films. Rocky Balboa (video Game)
''Rocky Balboa'' is a 2007 video game based on the movie of the same name for the PlayStation Portable, which is similar in style and content to ''Rocky Legends''. The game includes footage from each ''Rocky'' film, showing the buildup to the major fights of the film series. There are also some flashback videos of the training footage from the films (this is used in the Mickey's Corner section of the game, which is a tutorial aimed to teach new players how to play). It is also the last video game released by MGM Interactive before the company became defunct in late 2007. Gameplay The game contains a variety of different modes. ''Official Xbox Magazine'' (or OXM for short) was a British monthly video game magazine which started in November 2001 around the launch of the original Xbox. A preview issue was released at E3 2001, with another preview issue in November 2001. The magazine was bundled with a disc that included game demos, preview videos and trailers, and other content, such as game or Xbox updates and free gamerpics. The discs also provided the software for the Xbox 360 for backward compatibility of original Xbox games for those without broadband and Xbox Live access. GameSpy was an American provider of online multiplayer and matchmaking middleware for video games founded in 1996 by Mark Surfas.
