George Lincoln Rockwell (March 9, 1918 – August 25, 1967) was an American far-right political activist and founder of the American Nazi Party. He later became a major figure in the neo-Nazi movement in the United States, and his beliefs, strategies, and writings have continued to influence many white supremacists and neo-Nazis. Born in Bloomington, Illinois, Rockwell briefly studied philosophy at Brown University before dropping out to join the Navy. He trained as a pilot and served in World War II and the Korean War in non-combat roles, achieving the rank of Commander. Rockwell's politics grew more radical and vocal in the 1950s, and he was honorably discharged due to his views in 1960. In politics, he regularly praised Adolf Hitler, referring to him as the "White savior of the twentieth century". George Lovejoy "Doc" Rockwell (March 19, 1889March 2, 1978) was an American vaudeville performer and radio personality. Life and career Rockwell was born in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of Julia (Holden) and George Lyton Rockwell. Rockwell was a fast-talking "nut comic" who developed an act as a lecturing doctor. One sign of Rockwell's success was his appearances as the headline act at the Palace Theater in New York City, the single most coveted booking in vaudeville. Rockwell headlined at the Palace six times, the first in April 1925, the last in May 1932. In the 1930s, he also appeared on the inaugural bill at Radio City Music Hall (on December 27, 1932), at the Ziegfeld Theater, and in a single film, the 1937 musical comedy, ''The Singing Marine''. Julius Rockwell
Julius Rockwell (April 26, 1805May 19, 1888) was a United States politician from Massachusetts, and the father of Francis Williams Rockwell. Rockwell was born in Colebrook, Connecticut and educated at private schools and then Yale, where he studied law, graduating in 1826. He was admitted to the bar and in 1830 commenced practice in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He was elected a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives in 1834 and served four years, three of them as Speaker. Rockwell was appointed commissioner of the Bank of Massachusetts from 1838 to 1840. In 1842 he successfully ran as a Whig candidate for the House of Representatives and was re-elected three times, serving from 1843 to 1851. He did not seek renomination in 1850. Llewellyn Harrison Rockwell Jr. (born July 1, 1944) is an American author, editor, and political consultant. A libertarian and a self-professed anarcho-capitalist, he founded and is the chairman of the Mises Institute, a non-profit dedicated to promoting the Austrian School of economics. After graduating from university, Rockwell took a job at Arlington House publishers, a conservative publishing house. Through this work, he encountered the works and political theories of his mentor Murray Rothbard. Orrin Porter Rockwell (June 28, 1813 or June 25, 1815 – June 9, 1878) was a figure of the Wild West period of American history. A lawman in the Utah Territory, he was nicknamed ''Old Port'' and ''The Destroying Angel of Mormondom''.
