Rockwall High School is a high school that is part of the Rockwall Independent School District located in Rockwall, Texas. The average class size is around 600 and the school achieves an average graduation rate of 98%. Athletics The high school offers baseball, basketball, golf, cross country, gymnastics, soccer, track and field, football, powerlifting, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, and wrestling. In the 2015 season, the Yellowjacket football team went undefeated in district play and ended up 10–4 in the overall season. The wrestling team won state championships in 2001 and 2002. Daniel Shofner won the individual wrestling heavyweight state championship in 2005. The girls varsity basketball team won the state championship in 2007 after a perfect 40–0 season. Todd Dodge
Todd Russell Dodge (born July 21, 1963) is an American football coach and former player, and recently retired head coach at Westlake High School in Austin, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin where he played quarterback for the Longhorns, Dodge went into coaching, primarily at the high school level. At Southlake Carroll he was head coach of four 5A state championship teams in a seven-year span. He moved on to the college level as head coach of the University of North Texas football team, but he was released after acquiring a 6–37 record. Jaxon Smith-Njigba ( ; born February 14, 2002) is an American football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He holds the FBS Bowl Game and Ohio State single game record for most receiving yards with 347 in the 2022 Rose Bowl. Smith also holds Ohio State records for most catches in a single game with 15 (twice) and most receiving yards in a single season with 1,606 during the 2021 season. Roger Keith Kieschnick (born January 21, 1987) is an American former professional baseball outfielder.
