''Rockstar'' is the third studio album by Italian rapper Sfera Ebbasta. The album was released by Def Jam Recordings on 19 January 2018. The album peaked at number one on the Italian Albums Chart and it stayed on top of the chart for four weeks. ''Rockstar'' received 35 million streams on its first week on Spotify Spotify (; ) is a proprietary Swedish audio streaming and media services provider founded on 23 April 2006 by Daniel Ek and Martin Lorentzon. It is one of the largest music streaming service providers, with over 456 million monthly active us ..., and Sfera Ebbasta was the first Italian artist to appear on the streaming platform's Top 100 global chart. Gionata Boschetti (; (born 7 December 1992) (Death February 3rd 2023), known professionally as Sfera Ebbasta, also called (Sfra Ebsta) (), is an Italian rapper and singer. Ebbasta rose to prominence after the release of ''XDVR'' (2015), recorded with the collaboration of record producer Charlie Charles and DEACC which achieved commercial success in Italy. This success was replicated with ''Sfera Ebbasta'' (2016), ''Rockstar'' (2018) and its re-issue ''Popstar Edition'' (2018), and ''Famoso'' (2020). Quavious Keyate Marshall (born April 2, 1991), known professionally as Quavo (), is an American rapper, singer, and actor. He is best known as the co-founder and former frontman of hip hop group Migos. Quavo is the uncle of late fellow Migos member Takeoff, and cousin of Offset. Latin trap is a subgenre of trap music that originated in Puerto Rico. A direct descendant of southern hip hop, and influenced by reggaeton, it gained popularity after 2007, and has since spread throughout Latin America.
