Rocket To Uranus
"Rocket to Uranus" is the 2010 comeback song for the Dutch Eurodance group Vengaboys. It was released on 4 June 2010 in the Netherlands. In the UK the track was released only as a remix on dance compilation album Clubland 17 initially. It was later released digitally with no promotion. The song was written by a team consisting of Vengaboys, Danski, DJ Delmundo, Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck (Vacuum). The soon to be released video was shot in February and March 2010 in studios in London and L.A and was directed by Andy Soup, known for his work with Basement Jaxx and Scissor Sisters. The video was rumoured to feature a cameo by Lady Gaga, but that was denied by the Vengaboys through their Twitter account. American celebrity blogger Perez Hilton was the rumoured international star to appear in the video. Basement Jaxx
Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. They first rose to popularity in the underground house scene of the mid-1990s, but would go on to find international chart success and win Best Dance Act at both the 2002 and 2004 BRIT Awards. History 1992–98: Formation In 1992, Simon Ratcliffe began releasing white label records, gaining him the attention of several music producers including LTJ Bukem and Goldie. Uranus
Uranus is the seventh planet from the Sun. Vacuum is a Swedish pop band consisting of Mattias Lindblom and Anders Wollbeck. They also work as song writers and producers under the same name. As songwriters and producers Wollbeck and Lindblom have worked with artists such as Tarja Turunen, Tina Arena, Garou, Monrose, TVXQ, Keisha Buchanan, f(x) and The Canadian Tenors.
