Rocket Mortgage Classic
The Rocket Mortgage Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It was first staged in 2019 at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. The tournament replaced the Quicken Loans National on the PGA Tour schedule. It is the first PGA Tour event in history to be held completely within the Detroit city limits. Cameron Young
Cameron Young (born May 7, 1997) is an American professional golfer. He has twice finished in the top three in major championships and has several other runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour. Doc Hudspeth Redman (born December 27, 1997) is an American professional golfer. High school career Redman was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. He attended Leesville Road High School where he was the North Carolina AAAA state champion as a senior and all-state four years in high school. College career Competing for the Clemson Tigers, where he studied actuarial math. Redman won both the Jackrabbit and the Ka'anapali Classic in the fall of his freshman year. Nathan Clark Lashley (born December 12, 1982) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. Early life Lashley was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He played college golf at the University of Arizona. During his junior year, his parents and girlfriend died in a plane crash in Wyoming while flying from Sunriver, Oregon, where they had watched Lashley compete in the NCAA West Regional, to Nebraska. The 2018–19 PGA Tour was the 104th season of the PGA Tour, and the 52nd since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on October 4, 2018. The 2019 FedEx Cup Playoffs begun on August 8, and concluded on August 25, 2019, with Rory McIlroy winning his second FedEx Cup title. Changes for 2018–19 Schedule The schedule contained 46 events, two fewer than the previous season. The schedule was shortened in an effort to complete the FedEx Cup Playoffs by the end of August. As announced in 2017, the PGA Championship was moved from August to May on the weekend before Memorial Day, starting in 2019. Matthew Brandyn Wolff (born April 14, 1999) is an American professional golfer. He was an NCAA All-American at Oklahoma State University, and won the 2019 NCAA Division I individual championship. The 2019–20 PGA Tour was the 105th season (53rd since separating from the PGA of America) of the United States-based elite men's professional golf circuit. The season started on September 12, 2019. The 2020 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 20, and concluded on September 7, 2020, with Dustin Johnson winning the FedEx Cup. The season was effectively suspended on March 12 with the cancellation of the Players Championship after the first round due to growing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
