This list contains known album titles from both Japanese and American releases of anime music from all iterations of the '' Dragon Ball'' franchise. The ''Dragon Ball Z Hit Song Collection'' series and the ''Dragon Ball Z Game Music'' series have each their own lists of albums with sections, due to length, each individual publication is thus not included in this article. TV series soundtracks ''Dragon Ball: Music Collection'' (1986) is the official soundtrack of the ''Dragon Ball'' released by Columbia Records of Japan April 21, 1986 on vinyl and cassette. To date this is the only known soundtrack to be released during the series' lifespan. The album would be reissued through Columbia's ANIMEX 1200 Series September 25, 2003 as its 15th release. Nippon Columbia
, often pronounced ''Korombia'', operating internationally as , is a Japanese record label founded in 1910 as Nipponophone Co., Ltd. It affiliated itself with the Columbia Graphophone Company of the United Kingdom and adopted the standard UK Columbia trademarks (the "Magic Notes") in 1931. The company changed its name to Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. in 1946. It used the Nippon Columbia name until October 1, 2002, when it became . On October 1, 2010, the company returned to its current name. Outside Japan, the company operated formerly as the Savoy Label Group, which releases recordings on the SLG, Savoy Records, Savoy Jazz, and continues to operate as Denon. Yamcha
is a fictional character in the ''Dragon Ball'' manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He is first introduced as a desert bandit and an antagonist of Son Goku in chapter #7 "Yamcha and Pu'ar", published in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'' magazine on September 11, 1984, alongside his constant companion Pu'ar. He is eventually depicted as being reformed, becoming an ally of Goku's. Yamcha has received mixed reviews since his inception, being criticized for his weak abilities compared to other characters, but he has also been praised as being a fun character. Son Goku is a fictional character and the main protagonist of the ''Dragon Ball'' manga series created by Akira Toriyama. He is based on Sun Wukong (known as Son Goku in Japan and Monkey King in the West), a main character of the classic Chinese novel ''Journey to the West'' (16th century), combined with influences from the Hong Kong martial arts films of Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee.
