''Rock Dinner'' is a 2008–2013 television series on MTV Tr3s where people in the Los Angeles area cooked dinner for their favorite Latino artists. The artists included Flex, Rakim, Ken-Y, Enrique Iglesias, Kat DeLuna, and Reik. A version of the show was produced in Mexico City by MTV Latin America, hosted by Colombian model Carolina Guerra. MTV Tres (taken from the Spanish word for the number three ''tres'', stylized as tr3s, with an acute accent over the '3') is an American owned by Paramount Media Networks, a subsidiary of Paramount Global. Flex (singer)
Félix Danilo Gómez Bosquez (born August 29, 1980), known by his stage names Flex and Nigga, is a Panamanian reggaeton singer and songwriter. He adopted the name '' Nigga'' after being told by another Panamanian artist that he "sings like a black guy from Jamaica." Before releasing an album in the United States in 2008, Flex removed references to his nickname in songs, and his CD packages were reprinted with the name "Flex." William Michael Griffin Jr. (born January 28, 1968), better known by his stage name Rakim Allah or simply Rakim (), is an American rapper and record producer. Ken-Y
Rakim & Ken-Y is a reggaeton duo formed in 2003 by José Nieves (Rakim) and Kenny Vázquez (Ken-Y). The artists are renowned in the Latin music world for being the first to successfully fuse mainstream pop music with the reggaeton street rhythms of Puerto Rico and expose the style to a wide international audience. The sound introduced by Rakim & Ken-Y would go on to inspire the pop reggaeton songs of successful acts such as CNCO, J Balvin and Maluma.
