Rochelle Clark
Rochelle "Rocky" Clark, (born 29 May 1981) is an English rugby union player for Saracens Ladies, Saracens. She represented at the 2006 Women's Rugby World Cup, 2006, 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup, 2010, 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup, 2014 and 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup tournaments. Clark earned her 50th cap at the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup which made her 's second most-capped player at the time. She was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2015 New Year Honours for services to rugby. As of 16 March 2018, Clark has 137 caps. She was the most capped player in England international history, including both men and women, surpassing Jason Leonard's men's record of 114, until Sarah Hunter received her 138th cap at the 2021 Women's Rugby World Cup She credits hot baths and hard work as reasons for her success. Saracens Women
Saracens Women (Help:IPA/English, /ˈsærəsənz/) are a women's rugby union club based in Hendon, London, England. They were founded in 1989 and currently play in the Premier 15s, the top level competition of Women's rugby union, women's rugby in the country. Saracens are the most successful team in the history of the Premier 15s, having won the league a record three times – in 2017–18 Premier 15s, 2017–18, 2018–19 Premier 15s, 2018–19 and 2021–22 Premier 15s, 2021–22. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. 2021 Women's Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. The tournament introduced changes such as replacement of classification play-offs in the knockout stage with quarter-finals, and a longer scheduling window with at least five days between matches. It was also the first to not be marketed by World Rugby as the "Women's Rugby World Cup", due to a decision to market both the men's and women's tournaments under the "Rugby World Cup" title with no disambiguation beginning in 2021.
