Roche Bobois is a French company that designs and retails furniture and home accessories. History In 1960, having become acquainted at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair, Philippe and François Roche joined forces with Jean-Claude and Patrick Chouchan to import Scandinavian furniture to Paris. Soon after, they added Scandinavian giftware, such as textiles, tableware and tapestries to their furniture ranges. Vladimir Kagan
Vladimir Kagan (August 29, 1927 – April 7, 2016) was an American furniture designer. He was inducted in the Interior Designer Hall of Fame in 2009, 62 years after he started designing and producing furniture. His Midcentury modern furniture with "Sinuous wooden frame characteristics" has a modern feel. His style, inspired by everything from antiques and nature to the Bauhaus, emphasizes comfort and functionality. He was married to the embroidery designer Erica Wilson (1928–2011). Sonia Rykiel (; ; 25 May 1930 – 25 August 2016) was a French fashion designer and writer. She created the Poor Boy Sweater, which was featured on the cover of French ''Elle'' magazine. Her knitwear designs and new fashion techniques led her to be dubbed the "Queen of Knits".
