Robotman (Robert Crane) is a Golden Age DC Comics superhero. He first appeared in ''Star Spangled Comics'' #7 (April 1942) and was created by Jerry Siegel and Leo Nowak (artist), Leo Nowak. As his name suggests, Robotman is a cyborg; part robot and part human. Fictional character biography Robert Crane is a scientist whose brain was placed inside a robotic body after he had been fatally shot by a criminal named Mason. Since Crane had to be legally dead for his assailants to be charged with murder, he created a civilian identity as Paul Dennis, accomplished with lifelike face mask and gloves.''Star-Spangled Comics'' #7. Doom Patrol is a superhero team from DC Comics. The original Doom Patrol first appeared in ''My Greatest Adventure'' #80 (June 1963), and was created by writers Arnold Drake and Bob Haney, along with artist Bruno Premiani. Doom Patrol has appeared in different incarnations in multiple comics, and have been adapted to other media. Although not one of the most popular superhero teams, they have never been out of print for more than a few years since their introduction. Charles McNider (the original Doctor Mid-Nite and a bearer of the name Starman) is a fictional superhero in DC Comics. The character appeared for the first time in '' All-American Comics'' #25 (April 1941). Like many Golden Age heroic characters, the original Doctor Mid-Nite appeared as a member of DC's Justice Society of America. As a blind character, Doctor Mid-Nite is widely regarded as the first superhero in comics to exhibit a physical impairment, pre-dating the creation of Daredevil of Marvel Comics by more than twenty years. Dr. Mid-Nite made his live appearance on the second season of ''DC's Legends of Tomorrow'' played by Kwesi Ameyaw. S.T.R.I.P.E. (short for Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer) is a superhero in the DC Comics Universe. S.T.R.I.P.E. is a powered armor suit invented and worn by Patrick "Pat" Dugan, the former adult sidekick to teenage superhero Sylvester Pemberton, the Star-Spangled Kid. "Stripesy", as he was originally called, is a gifted mechanic who built the Star Rocket Racer, a bubble-topped limousine with the functions of a rocket and helicopter.
