"Robot" is a song by the South Korean Rock music, rock band CN Blue, written and produced by Jung Yong-hwa and Kosuke Oba. It was released on December 19, 2012 in three different editions as the group's fourth major single under Warner Music Group, Warner Music Japan and seventh overall. It follows previous singles "Where You Are (CN Blue song), Where You Are" and "Come On (CN Blue song), Come On". Background The single was announced by their Korean agency, FNC Media, on November 14 along with the track list of the single and editions. On November 22, an image was released on their Japanese official website, revealing the jacket covers, producers, prices and bonus gifts included in every edition. First bassist Kwon Kwang-jin left the band after they released their debut Japanese extended play ''Now or Never'' in 2009, and was replaced by Lee Jung-shin. Lee Jong-hyun (guitar and vocals) left the band on August 28, 2019. CN is an initialism for ''Code Name'', while BLUE is a backronym for ''burning'', ''lovely'', ''untouchable'', and ''emotional''; it is meant to portray the images of Jong-hyun, Min-hyuk, Jung-shin, and Yong-hwa, respectively. Lee Jong-hyun (born May 15, 1990) is a South Korean musician, singer-songwriter and actor. He was the former lead guitarist and vocalist of South Korean rock band CNBLUE. He made his acting debut in an omnibus movie '' Acoustic'' in 2010, followed by his television debut in the Korean drama '' A Gentleman's Dignity'' in 2012.
