Roberto Sošić
Roberto Sošić is a Croatian former handball player. Sošić was born in Rovinj, Istria (now Croatia, at the time Yugoslavia). He joined RK Zamet, based in Rijeka, in the early part of his career. Sošić played for many years in RK Zamet, and he's considered one of the most important players in the club's history, being, together with Jurica Lakić, Alvaro Načinović, Vlado Vukoje, and Mateo Hrvatin one of Zamet's only five players who managed to play for Yugoslavia men's national handball team, Yugoslavia's national team. Rovinj
Rovinj (; it, Rovigno; Istriot: or ; grc, Ρυγίνιον, Rygínion; la, Ruginium) is a city in Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea with a population of 14,294 (2011). Located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula, it is a popular tourist resort and an active fishing port. Alvaro Načinović
Alvaro Načinović (born 22 March 1966 in Rijeka) is a former Croatian handball player who competed for Yugoslavia and Croatia respectively. He played for his hometown club Zamet Rijeka with whom he entered into the Yugoslav First League in 1987 after winning the Second League in Kać. The same year he won the IHF Men's Junior World Championship with Yugoslavia U-21 in his club's home venue in Rijeka. Yugoslavia beat Spain in the final. In 1992 Načinović played for RK Zagreb Loto with whom he won the European Champions Cup. He also spent six years in Slovenia playing for RK Pivovarna Laško Celje with a brief season at Zamet before coming to RK Crikvenica. Načinović spent five years in Crikvenica before retiring in 2006. Mateo Hrvatin (born 15 August 1980 in Rijeka) is a former Croatian team handball, handballer, who played as left winger for RK Zamet, RK Zagreb, CO Zagreb and RK Crikvenica. He was selected by the Croatia men's national handball team, Croatian national team for the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship. Early life Mateo Hrvatin was born 15 August 1980 in Rijeka where he grew up. Hrvatin started playing handball in Rijeka at local club RK Kvarner. Jurica Lakić
Jurica Lakić (11 May 1953 - 9 September 1982) is a former Croatian handball player. Career Jurica Lakić was born on 11 May 1953. He started playing handball in RK Dubovac. He started his senior career in RK Dubovac at the age of 15. In 1970 Lakić moved to RK Kvarner in Rijeka on the call of head coach Vlado Stenzel and played in the golden generation of Kvarner in the Yugoslav First League. In 1972 Lakić played for the national team of SR Croatia and a year later he made 5 appearances for Yugoslavia. Lakić was a key player in RK Kvarner all throughout his six year stay. In 1975 after the departure of Ivan Munitić he coached the team for a couple of months.
