Roberto Guajardo Suárez
Roberto Guajardo Suárez (16 October 1918 – c. October 2008) was a Mexican lawyer who served as the second director-general of the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM, 1947–1951), as a founding president of ''Sociedad Artística Tecnológico'' (the Institute's artistic society) in 1948 and as president of Coparmex, a Mexican employers' association (1960–1973). Guajardo Suárez was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, into a family composed by Manuel Guajardo Medina and Sofía Suárez. León Ávalos Y Vez
León Ávalos y Vez (24 January 1906 – 1991) was a Mexican mechanical engineer who served as the founding director-general of the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM, 1943–1946) and as director-general of the National School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN, 1943). Ávalos y Vez was born in Atlixco, Puebla, on 24 January 1906 into a family composed by Ignacio Ávalos and Amalia Vez. He received a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute and a master's degree in the same discipline from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1929). Víctor Bravo Ahuja (20 February 1918 – 2 September 1990) was a Mexican politician and academician who served as Secretary of Public Education (Mexico), Secretary of Public Education in the administration of Luis Echeverría (1970–76), as Governor of Oaxaca (1968–70) and as Director General (1951–55) and then Rector (1955–58) of the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM). He was born into a family composed by Rodrigo Bravo Monsalve and Carmen Ahuja Beauregard and became one of the first four students to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute.
