Roberto Carlos Sosa
Roberto Carlos Sosa (born 24 January 1975) is an Argentine former professional Association football, football Striker (association football), striker turned Manager (association football), coach. Playing career Sosa was born in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, Santa Rosa, La Pampa Province, La Pampa. He started playing for Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata in 1995. His best season with Gimnasia was in 1997–98 when he scored 28 goals in 38 matches. He was the top scorer in the 1998 Argentine Torneo Clausura, with 17 goals. After this excellent season, Sosa was transferred to Italy, to play with Serie A team Udinese Calcio, Udinese. He spent almost 10 years playing in Europe, playing with Serie A and Serie B teams Ascoli Calcio, Ascoli and F.C. Messina Peloro, Messina. He also spent four years with S.S.C. Santa Rosa, La Pampa
Santa Rosa () is a city in the Argentine Pampas (lowlands), and the capital of La Pampa Province, Argentina. It lies on the east of the province, on the shore of the Don Tomás Lagoon, at the intersection of National Routes 5 and 35.
