Roberto Abbondanzieri
Roberto Carlos "Pato" Abbondanzieri (born Abbondancieri on 19 August 1972) is an Argentine professional former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He spent most of his career at Boca Juniors in his homeland, as well as Getafe of La Liga and Internacional of Brazil. He is currently the assistant manager of Pachuca. Abbondanzieri earned 49 caps for the Argentina national football team from 2004 to 2008, playing at two Copa America tournaments and the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Club career Early career Born in Bouquet, Santa Fe, Abbondanzieri's professional debut took place on 6 December 1994 at Santa Fe's Rosario Central, with whom he would soon after winning the 1995 CONMEBOL Cup. Bouquet, Santa Fe
Bouquet is a town in Belgrano Department, in Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It's located from the provincial capital Santa Fe In 1908 the federal government established the law that authorized the construction of a railway line from Las Rosas to Bouquet. After obtaining the land, work started in 1910 including the construction of a small town adjacent to the railway station. Bouquet therefore started with the construction of the station, and its opening on 19 September 1910, with the organization provided by its founders, Otto Bantle, Victorio De Lorenzi and Augusto Schanck who contracted Civil Engineer Benno Jorge Schanck for the planning of the town. On 12 September 1912 the name ''"Bouquet"'' was proposed for the station, as these lands once belonged to ex-federal senator Carlos María Bouquet, father-in-law of President José Figueroa Alcorta. CONMEBOL Cup
The Copa CONMEBOL ( en, CONMEBOL Cup) was an annual football cup competition organized by CONMEBOL between 1992 and 1999 for South American football clubs. During its time of existence, it was a very prestigious South American club football contest, similar to the UEFA Cup. Clubs qualified for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. Teams that were not able to qualify for the Copa Libertadores would play in this tournament. The tournament was played as a knockout cup. The tournament ended in 1999, following the expansion of the Copa Libertadores to 32 teams. The Zamora Trophy ( es, Trofeo Ricardo Zamora, link=no) is a football award, established by Spanish newspaper '' MARCA'' in 1958. The award goes to the goalkeeper who has the lowest "goals-to-games" ratio.Similar to goals against average in ice hockey or earned run average in baseball. In the inaugural year of the award, the winning goalkeeper had to play at least 15 league matches in the current season. In 1964, the limit for matches a goalkeeper had to play was raised to 22. In 1983, it was raised to 28 matches, including the rule that the goalkeeper had to play at least 60 minutes in match for it to count. Guillermo Barros Schelotto (; born 4 May 1973) is an Argentine football manager and former forward who currently manages the Paraguay national team. Barros Schelotto played 16 years of his professional career in the Argentine Primera División (6 with Gimnasia La Plata and 10 with Boca Juniors). With these two teams, he won a total 17 official titles (one with Gimnasia and 16 with Boca). The 2006 Recopa Sudamericana (officially the 2006 Recopa Visa Sudamericana for sponsorship reasons) was the 14th Recopa Sudamericana, an annual football match between the winners of the previous season's Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana competitions. This edition was played under a two-legged series after several editions played in neutral venues. The match was contested by São Paulo, winners of the 2005 Copa Libertadores, and defending champions Boca Juniors, winners of the 2005 Copa Sudamericana and appearing in their third consecutive final.
