Leander Haußmann
Leander Haußmann (sometimes Haussmann) (; born 26 June 1959, Quedlinburg) is a German theatre and film director. The son of actor Ezard Haußmann and costume designer Doris Haußmann, he attended the Ernst Busch theatre school in Berlin. Haußmann was the theatre director of the city theatre in Bochum ( Schauspielhaus Bochum). He also wrote and acted in several plays (1995–2000), and had a role in the Detlev Buck film '' Jailbirds'' (1996). His feature film breakthrough came with ''Sonnenallee'' in 1999. His second feature, ''Herr Lehmann'', followed in 2003. His production of ''Die Fledermaus'' in Munich was controversial, compounding the trouble surrounding his production of ''Peter Pan''. As a result, his scheduled production of ''Romeo and Juliet'' was cancelled. Tom Schilling (born 10 February 1982) is a German film and television actor. Life and acting career Schilling grew up in the formerly East German borough of Berlin Mitte. He was discovered at the age of 12 by stage director Thomas Heise, and cast in the stage play ''Im Schlagschatten des Mondes'' (Under the shadow of the moon) at the Berliner Ensemble theatre company, which he stayed with for the next four years to play in other productions as well. Acting jobs earned him enough money to move out of his parents' place when he was 18 and still in school. He left school with an Abitur certificate. Schilling's screen acting debut was in 1996, when he appeared in the Sat.1 TV series '' Hallo, Onkel Doc!'' at the age of 14. Maruschka Detmers (born 16 December 1962, Schoonebeek) is a Dutch actress. She moved to France as a teenager after finishing school, where she captured the attention of director Jean-Luc Godard. Julia Dietze (born 9 January 1981) is a German actress. Biography Dietze is the daughter of the German artist, illustrator and painter Mathias Dietze. Her mother is from Marseille.
