Robert W. McNulty
Robert W. McNulty (1897-1966) was a dental educator. He was president of the American Dental Education Association in 1960 (a title changed to Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Dental Education Association in 2013). Biography Born in Braidwood, Illinois, McNulty graduated D.D.S. from Chicago's Loyola University School of Dentistry in 1926. He later in the 1940s served as dean of the Loyola University Dental School and as a president of the Illinois State Dental Society, becoming a nationally known author and lecturer on the problems of dental education. Braidwood, Illinois
Braidwood is a city in Will County, Illinois, United States, approximately southwest of Chicago and south of Joliet. The population was 6,191 at the 2010 census. The Braidwood Nuclear Generating Station, a nuclear power plant currently owned by Exelon Corporation, is also located in the area (although the plant's address is actually in the nearby town of Braceville). The station is one of the major employers in the area and provides a significant portion of the electricity used in the Chicago area. USC Dental School
The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry is the dental school of the University of Southern California. It was established in 1897 as simply the "University of Southern California School of Dentistry," and graduated its first class of 11 students in 1900. In 2010, the school was renamed after a $35 million donation by a USC alumnus, and the school was renamed for its benefactor, Herman Ostrow. Dr. Ostrow was a School of Dentistry of USC alumnus who graduated in 1945. He practiced with the profession of dentistry for 17 years before getting into real estate development in the Los Angeles area, where he made most of his earnings.
