Robert Ross (born February 8, 1981) is an American politician. He was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives, having served since 2013 to 2021. He is a member of the Republican party. In the 2020 election cycle, he was a candidate for the Missouri Senate, District 33. The Missouri Senate is the upper chamber of the Missouri General Assembly. It has 34 members, representing districts with an average population of 174,000. Its members serve four-year terms, with half the seats being up for election every two years. The Senate chooses a President Pro Tempore to serve in the absence of the lieutenant governor or when he shall have to exercise the office of governor of Missouri if there is a vacancy in that office due to death, resignation, impeachment, or incapacitation. Karla Eslinger is a former member of the Missouri Senate representing the 33rd Missouri Senatorial District from 2021 to 2024. She succeeded fellow Republican Mike Cunningham.
