Robert Prizeman
Robert Gordon Prizeman (28 February 1952 – 8 September 2021) was a British composer. He was born in the London Borough of Lambeth. He attended the Royal College of Music in South Kensington. Prizeman studied organ with Timothy Farrell and John Birch (musician), John Birch, and harpsichord with Millicent Silver. In 1986 he composed the theme to ''Songs of Praise'', which was published by Chester Music and Wilhelm Hansen (publisher), Wilhelm Hansen, and from 1985 was the programme's musical director. The programme's theme was initially an organ composition. He worked as a choirmaster from 1970. In 1984 his choir performed with Sal Solo in his arrangement. He founded the successful boys choir ''Libera (choir), Libera'' in 1995, which is based in south London and records for EMI Classics. Composer
A composer is a person who writes music. The term is especially used to indicate composers of Western classical music, or those who are composers by occupation. Many composers are, or were, also skilled performers of music. Etymology and Definition The term is descended from Latin, ''compōnō''; literally "one who puts together". Cherry Hills Village, Colorado
The City of Cherry Hills Village is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 6,442 at the 2020 United States Census. Cherry Hills Village is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The city hosted two PGA Championships (1941 and 1985) and the 2005 U.S. Women's Open at the Cherry Hills Country Club. The community was named for a grove of cherry trees near the original town site.
