Robert Power (Australian Cyclist)
Robert Power (born 11 May 1995) is an Australian former road racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2016 and 2021 for , and . Career Amateur career As a child, Power was a rugby player; his brother Leon Power played professionally in Australia, France and New Zealand. At the age of 13, however, Power suffered a knee injury. The rehabilitation from the injury involved a lot of cycling on the velodrome at the Midland Cycling Club in Perth. Power joined the group rides and, a year later, rode in the national championships. He continued riding in the various age-group categories over the subsequent years. Power joined the National Junior High Performance Program in 2013. During that season, he won two races (a stage of the Giro della Lunigiana and the Trofeo Buffoni one-day race) as well as recording several other high placings. 2016 Tour Of Britain
The 2016 Tour of Britain was a nine-stage men's professional road cycling race. It was the thirteenth running of the modern version of the Tour of Britain and the 76th British tour in total. Bone marrow is a semi-solid tissue found within the spongy (also known as cancellous) portions of bones. In birds and mammals, bone marrow is the primary site of new blood cell production (or haematopoiesis). It is composed of hematopoietic cells, marrow adipose tissue, and supportive stromal cells. The 2015 Jayco Herald Sun Tour was the 62nd edition of the Herald Sun Tour road cycling stage race. The race was rated as 2.1 and was part of the 2015 UCI Oceania Tour. The 2015 race consisted of five stages in Victoria, starting in Melbourne on 4 February and finished at the summit finish on Arthurs Seat on 8 February. The race was won by Australian Cameron Meyer of the cycling team. Meyer succeeded his teammate Simon Clarke, who won the 2014 edition of the race and finished fourth in the 2015 race. Matthew "Matt" White (born 22 February 1974 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional road racing cyclist. Currently White is working as a sporting director for . White has also worked as a sporting director for but was let go because of doping offenses during his racing career. Alexander Edmondson (born 22 December 1993) is an Australian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Edmondson was a member of the Australian Olympic Track Cycling team at the 2012 London Olympics, alongside his sister, Annette Edmondson. In 2014 he was world champion in the individual pursuit. 2014 UCI Road World Championships – Men's Under-23 Road Race
The Men's under-23 road race of the 2014 UCI Road World Championships took place in and around Ponferrada, Spain on 26 September 2014. The course of the race was with the start and finish in Ponferrada. Following on from countryman Kurt Asle Arvesen in 1997, Sven Erik Bystrøm became only the second Norwegian rider to win the world title. He made a late break on the final climb, with around remaining, and held off the peloton; he ultimately soloed to victory by seven seconds.
