Robert Mecklenborg
Robert Paul Mecklenborg (born April 1, 1952) is a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives, who represented the 30th district since his appointment in 2007. As chairman of the state government and elections committee, he introduced a bill to require voters to produce state-issued photo identification in order to vote. Life and career Mecklenborg graduated from the Roman Catholic St. Xavier High School in 1970. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from Ohio University, he obtained a J.D. degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He was licensed to practice law in Ohio in 1978 and in Federal Court for the Southern District in 1983. Mecklenborg served as solicitor and prosecutor for the Cleves, a village in Hamilton County with a population of 2,735 and a land area of 1.58 sq. miles. Bill Seitz
William J. Seitz III (born October 29, 1954) is the state representative for the 30th District of the Ohio House of Representatives. He is a Republican. The district consists of Cheviot, Delhi Township, Green as well as portions of Cincinnati, in Hamilton County. Formerly, Seitz represented the same seat from 2001 to 2007. He served in the Ohio Senate from 2007 to 2016. He has also served as Majority Leader since 2017. Cheviot, Ohio
Cheviot is a city in west-central Hamilton County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Cincinnati. The population was 8,375 at the 2010 census. History In 1818, a Scottish immigrant named John Craig purchased a half section of of Green Township from Elias Boudinot. He built an inn and tavern on the Harrison Pike. On March 21 1818, Craig laid out a town which he named after the Cheviot Hills in southern Scotland. He sold lots and growth began. The town was incorporated as a village in 1901, and a city in 1931. Originally a farming community, today Cheviot is a residential suburb of Cincinnati. On January 6, 2018, fireworks at the Cheviot Memorial Building Fieldhouse kicked off the city's bicentennial. The University of Cincinnati College of Law was founded in 1833 as the Cincinnati Law School.
