Robert Johnson (basketball)
Robert Johnson (born May 27, 1995) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Raptors 905 of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers. College career Johnson averaged 12.8 points and 2.5 assists per game as a junior at Indiana. He declared for the NBA draft but opted to return to the Hoosiers. As a senior, Johnson averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. Johnson was named honorable mention All-Big Ten by the coaches. He finished 21st in career scoring at Indiana with 1,413 points. Professional career After going undrafted in the 2018 NBA draft, he represented the Atlanta Hawks during the NBA summer league in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. NBA G League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The league started with eight teams until NBA commissioner David Stern announced a plan to expand the NBA D-League to 15 teams and develop it into a true minor league farm team, farm system, with each NBA D-League team affiliated with one or more NBA teams in March 2005. Motor City Cruise
The Motor City Cruise are an American professional basketball team in the NBA G League based in Detroit, Michigan, and are affiliated with the Detroit Pistons. The Cruise play their home games at Wayne State Fieldhouse. The franchise began play as the Long Beach Jam in 2003 under the revived American Basketball Association and moved to Bakersfield in the D-League in 2006 as the Bakersfield Jam. The LNB Pro A, currently known for sponsorship reasons as Betclic Élite, is the top-tier men's professional basketball league in France. The competition has existed since 1921. Since 1987, the Ligue Nationale de Basket has governed the league. The bottom two placed teams from each season are relegated to the second tier level Pro B. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball.
