Robert Janson
Robert Janson (born June 7, 1965 in Czeladź) is a Polish composer, singer, guitarist, leader and co-founder of pop band Varius Manx. He is a member of Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry. In 1989, Robert Janson formed Varius Manx with the Marciniak brothers, Michał and Paweł. After Anita Lipnicka joined and the album ''Emu'' was released in 1994, the group became famous in Poland. Robert Janson received the Fryderyk award in 1995 and 1996 for Best Composer. In 1997, Janson decided to pursue his solo career and released his first solo album ''Trzeci Wymiar followed'' by another ''Nowy Świat'' 2 years later. On May 28, 2006, Robert Janson, along with the other band members of Varius Manx, were involved in car accident in Milicz. Czeladź
Czeladź (; yi, טשעלאַדזש, Chelodz) is a town in Zagłębie Dąbrowskie (part of historic Lesser Poland), in southern Poland, near Katowice and Sosnowiec. Located in the Silesian Highlands, on the Brynica river (tributary of the Vistula), it is the oldest urban center of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. The area of Czeladź is 16 km2, and it borders Będzin, Sosnowiec, Katowice and Siemianowice Śląskie. Fryderyk
The Fryderyk is the annual award in Polish music. Its name refers to the original Polish spelling variant of Polish composer Frédéric Chopin's first name. Its status in the Polish public can be compared to the American Grammy and the UK's BRIT Award. Officially created in 1994 and presented for the first time in 1995, the award was initially conferred by the Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry (''Związek Producentów Audio-Video'', ZPAV). Since 1999, nominees and winners have been selected by a body called Phonographic Academy (''Akademia Fonograficzna'') which by now consists of nearly 1000 artists, journalists and music industry professionals. Monika Kuszyńska
Monika Kuszyńska (born 14 January 1980) is a Polish singer and songwriter. She represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song " In the Name of Love" and was previously the lead singer of the Polish pop rock band Varius Manx. Life and career Kuszyńska entered the Polish music scene in 2000, when she was selected as the new vocalist of the Polish pop rock band Varius Manx, replacing Kasia Stankiewicz. In 2001, she released her first album with the band, titled ''Eta''. The following year, she released her second album with them titled ''Eno''. On 28 May 2006, Kuszyńska along with the other band members of Varius Manx were involved in a serious car accident in Milicz. Milicz
Milicz (german: Militsch) is a town in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of Milicz County and of Gmina Milicz, part of the larger Wrocław metropolitan area. Geography The town is situated in the historic Lower Silesia region, near the border with Greater Poland. The centre is located on the Barycz river, about north of the regional capital Wrocław. From 1975 to 1998 Milicz belonged to Wrocław Voivodeship. Anita Lipnicka (born 13 June 1975) is a Polish singer and songwriter. Her career as a singer started in Varius Manx, a band with which she achieved a great success. In 1996, she made a decision to pursue a solo career, she left the band and moved to London where she made her first solo album. The album was called "Wszystko się może zdarzyć" (Everything Can Happen) and was a huge success. In 1998 Lipnicka released her second solo album "To, co naprawdę" (What Is Real). In 2000, her third solo album appeared-"Moje oczy sa zielone" (My eyes are green). In 2001, Lipnicka started to work with John Porter. Pop Rock

The Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry ( pl, Związek Producentów Audio-Video, ZPAV) is the trade organization that represents the interests of the music industry in Poland, and the Polish chapter of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI).
