Bob Hayes
Robert Lee Hayes (December 20, 1942 – September 18, 2002), nicknamed "Bullet Bob", was an Olympic gold medalist sprinter who then became an American football split end in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys (for 11 seasons). Bob Hayes the only athlete to win both an Olympic gold medal and a Super Bowl ring. An American track and field athlete, he was a two-sport stand-out in college in both track and football at Florida A&M University. Hayes was enshrined in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2001 and was selected for induction in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in January 2009. Hayes is the second Olympic gold medalist to be inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, after Jim Thorpe. He once held the world record for the 70-yard dash (with a time of 6.9 seconds). Robert Alexander Hayes (12 January 1942 – 10 November 2011) was an Australian Associate professor of Law at the University of Western Sydney. After schooling at Scotch College, Melbourne, he graduated from the University of Melbourne in law and completed a PhD in defamation at Monash University in 1973. Hayes was a qualified solicitor, barrister, quasi-judicial officer, law reform commissioner, government consultant, legal publisher, and law lecturer. His international appointments included lecturing at the Law Schools of McGill, Montreal and the University of Toronto. In 1980 he became a commissioner at the Australian Law Reform Commission and rescued a stale inquiry into privacy law in time for chairman, Michael Kirby, to deliver the three-volume report in the last days of 1983. Robert Cecil Hayes (19 January 1900 – 3 September 1977) was a New Zealand astronomer, seismologist and organist. He was born in Wellington, New Zealand on 19 January 1900. Career Hayes did not have any formal qualifications, however he began work at the Dominion Observatory, Wellington (then named the Hector Observatory) in 1920. The observatory was responsible for maintaining the New Zealand Government Time Service. Hayes was trained in the astronomical observations necessary to keep the clocks accurate. Some of his initial work also involved working on the seismograph that the observatory inherited from seismologist George Hogben. Hayes became acting-director of the observatory after Charles Edward Adams retired from the position in 1936. He was acting-director for 12 years before the position was formalised. Robert Tyrone Hayes (born March 12, 1982) is an American serial killer who has been convicted of three murders in the Daytona Beach, Florida, area between December 2005 and February 2006. DNA tests have also linked him to a fourth murder committed in March 2016. In addition, he remains the prime suspect in the murder of another woman in December 2007. The first three murders that were committed in Daytona Beach, Florida, garnered high media attention, and before Hayes' identification, the perpetrator was nicknamed The Daytona Beach Killer. Investigators were not able to close in on a suspect in time. In December 2007, the murder of a woman in the same area caused a re-investigation to be brought forward, but again, Hayes remained elusive. Robert Benjamin Hayes (May 13, 1876–?) was an American educator, academic administrator and college president. He headed Philander Smith College's natural science department, and served as the president of George R. Smith College from 1916 until 1925.
