Robert Förster (born 27 January 1978) is a German former professional road racing cyclist. He specialized in bunch sprints. He turned professional in 2001, initially riding for Team Nürnberger. His career highlights have been wins in the final ( Museo del Ghisallo–Milan) stage 21 of the Giro d'Italia 2006, and stage 15 ( Motilla del Palancar – Ford factory, Almussafes) of the 2006 Vuelta. 2013 Tour Of Alberta
The 2013 Tour of Alberta is the inaugural edition of the Tour of Alberta stage race. The inaugural event is included on the UCI America Tour, with a UCI classification of 2.1. As such, the race was only open to teams on the UCI Pro Tour, UCI Professional Continental and UCI Continental circuits. The race takes place between September 3–8, 2013, as a six-day, six-stage race, traversing the province of Alberta. The race commences in Edmonton and finishes Calgary. The 2013 Tour of Alberta was one of seven UCI-ranked stage races in the North America in 2013. Due to damages caused by the 2013 Alberta floods, various routes were changed. Giro D'Italia 2006
The 2006 Giro d'Italia was the 89th edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours. It began in the Belgian city of Seraing with a individual time trial. The race came to a close with a mass-start road stage that stretched from Museo del Ghisallo to Milan. Twenty two teams entered the race that was won by the Italian Ivan Basso of the team. Second and third were the Spain José Enrique Gutiérrez and Italian Gilberto Simoni. Basso, riding for , won the Giro in dominant fashion.
