Robert Dolton Foster (born April 8, 1983) is an American politician from the U.S. state, state of Mississippi. A Republican Party (United States), Republican, he served in the Mississippi House of Representatives. He was an unsuccessful candidate for governor of Mississippi in the 2019 Mississippi gubernatorial election, 2019 election. Political career Foster was first elected to the Mississippi House in November 2015. In 2017, Foster authored the current Mississippi death penalty law, which allows for Death penalty in America, executions by gas chamber, electrocution, and Execution by firing squad, firing squad. Foster also introduced legislation in 2017 that would have “remove[d] affirmative action, multiculturalism and sanctuary of illegal alien students” from public universities in the state, though the bill didn't pass. Robert Foster (RAF Officer)
Air Chief Marshal Sir Robert Mordaunt Foster, (3 September 1898 – 23 October 1973) was a Royal Flying Corps pilot in the First World War, and a senior commander in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War and the immediate post-war years. Early life and First World War Foster was educated at Winchester College and the Royal Military College at Sandhurst, graduating as a Gentlemen Cadet. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Royal Fusiliers on 19 July 1916, but was seconded to the Royal Flying Corps, and on 7 October 1916 was appointed a flying officer. He was sent to France to join No. 54 Squadron flying the Sopwith Camel. While with 54 Squadron, Foster shot down at least one enemy machine. Later in the war Foster returned to Great Britain, carrying out home defence duties whilst serving with No. 44 Squadron. On 19 January 1918 he was promoted to lieutenant. ''Just William'' is a United Kingdom television series first broadcast on BBC One in December 2010. The series is based on the ''Just William'' series of books by Richmal Crompton. This latest adaptation is written by Simon Nye. It is the first adaption of the books since a children's television series in the 1990s. The series stars Daniel Roche as the title character, eponymous character William Brown, with Rebecca Front and Daniel Ryan as William's parents. Robert Frederick Foster (May 31, 1853 – December 25, 1945) of New York City, known as R. F. Foster, was a memory training promoter and the prolific writer of more than 50 nonfiction books. He wrote primarily on the rules of play and methods for successful play of card, dice, and board games. Alan Truscott wrote 20 years after his death that Foster "had been one of the great figures in whist and bridge" for 60 years. Biography R. F. Robert Sanford Foster (January 27, 1834 – March 3, 1903) was an American officer. He served as a Union general during the American Civil War. He played a prominent role in the Siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox Campaign. After the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln in April 1865, Foster was selected later that year to serve as a member of the Military Commission established to try the conspirators accused of the murder. He resigned from the Army in September 1865 and returned to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he lived and worked for the rest of his life. He served for a period as a US Marshal.
