Robert Bulkeley, 2nd Viscount Bulkeley
Robert Bulkeley, 2nd Viscount Bulkeley of Cashel (died 18 October 1688) was a British peer and politician. He was born the second son of Thomas Bulkeley, 1st Viscount Bulkeley of Baron Hill, Beaumaris and inherited the title from his father after his elder brother Richard was murdered. His mother was Blanche Cotymore, daughter of Richard Cotymore. He was appointed Sheriff of Anglesey for 1658 and elected the Member of Parliament for Anglesey for 1660–1661, Caernarvonshire, 1675–1679, and Anglesey for the second time from 1685 to 1689. He married Sarah, the daughter of Daniel Hervey of Coombe in Surrey. They had three sons and six daughters. He was succeeded by his eldest son Richard. Of his younger sons, Robert Bulkeley (died 1702), became MP for Beaumaris and Thomas became MP for Caernarvonshire. Viscount Bulkeley
Viscount Bulkeley, of Cashel in the County of Tipperary, was a title in the Peerage of Ireland. It was created on 19 January 1644 for Thomas Bulkeley, the son of Sir Richard Bulkeley of Beaumaris and a supporter of King Charles I of England. The title descended from father to son until the death of his great-great-grandson, the 5th Viscount, in 1738. The late Viscount was childless and was succeeded by his younger brother, the 6th Viscount. The latter was succeeded by his son, the 7th Viscount. The 7th Viscount was also created Baron Bulkeley, of Beaumaris, in the County of Anglesey, in the Peerage of Great Britain on 14 May 1784, which entitled him to a seat in the House of Lords. In 1802 he assumed by Royal licence the additional surname of Warren, which was that of his father-in-law, Sir George Warren. On his death in 1822 both titles became extinct. Bulkeley Family
Bulkeley () is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The village is on the A534 road, west of Nantwich. In the 2011 census it had a population of 239. History The name was first recorded as ''Bulceleia'' in 1086, from Old English ''bulluc'' + ''leah'', "pasture where bullocks graze". Bulkeley was previously a township in Malpas parish, Broxton Hundred. It became a civil parish in 1866, which included the small settlement of Bulkeleyhay (also Bulkelehay or Bulkeley Hey) at . Between 1894 and 1974 the civil parish was part of Nantwich Rural District. Governance Bulkeley is administered jointly with Ridley by Bulkeley and Ridley Parish Council. Sir William Williams, 6th Baronet
Sir William Williams, 6th Baronet (– 23 December 1696) of Faenol (Vaynol) was a Welsh politician and landowner elected as MP for Caernarvonshire from 1689 until his death. Career Williams was born in around 1663, the son of Sir Griffith Williams (d.), 4th Baronet, of Faenol (Vaynol), and his wife Penelope, daughter of Thomas, 1st Viscount Bulkeley. Sir Griffith was one of the Williams baronets, and was succeeded by his son Sir Thomas Williams (d.) as 5th Baronet. Sir William succeeded his brother in around 1673. In 1688, he succeeded Robert, 2nd Viscount Bulkeley as Vice-Admiral of North Wales and, in the following year, he was elected as MP for Caernarvonshire. He married his cousin Ellen Bulkeley, the daughter of Robert, 2nd Viscount Bulkeley. Death and legacy Williams died on 23 December 1696 and the Baronetcy became extinct.
