Robert Beattie (rugby Union)
Robert Beattie (born 30 August 1993 in Scotland) is a Scotland 7s international rugby union footballer who currently plays as a wing for Ayrshire Bulls. He previously played for Glasgow Warriors, London Scottish and Glasgow Hawks. Rugby union career Amateur career Beattie played for Glasgow Hawks. The deal Beattie signed for the Warriors on 28 September 2017 is a partnership deal with Glasgow Hawks to the end of the 2017-18 season. Professional career Beattie was awarded a place in the Scottish Rugby Academy for season 2016-17. He was a Stage 3 player for Glasgow and the West regional academy and assigned to Glasgow Warriors. The Glasgow Academy
The Glasgow Academy is a coeducational independent day school for pupils aged 3–18 in Glasgow, Scotland. In 2016, it had the third-best Higher level exam results in Scotland. Founded in 1845, it is the oldest continuously fully independent school in Glasgow. History The school war memorial was designed by former pupil Alexander Nisbet Paterson in 1922. In 1981 the school admitted girl pupils for the first time. In 1991, Glasgow Academy merged with Westbourne School for Girls, adopting the distinctive purple of its uniform in the school badge and tartan. Northampton Saints (officially Northampton Rugby Football Club) is a professional rugby union club from Northampton, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. They were formed in 1880 as "Northampton St. James", which gave them the nickname ''Saints'' from the 1880s. The team play their home games at Franklin's Gardens, in the west of the town, which has a capacity of 15,250 and play in black, green, and gold colours. United States National Rugby Sevens Team
The United States national rugby sevens team competes in international rugby sevens competitions. The national sevens team is organized by USA Rugby, and the team has been led by Head Coach Mike Friday since 2014. The main competition the team plays in every year is the World Rugby Sevens Series, a series of ten tournaments played around the globe from December to June that includes the USA Sevens tournament every spring. The Eagles have been a core team in the World Series and finished in the top twelve each season since 2008–09. The Eagles' best season in the Sevens Series has been a second-place finish in the 2018–19 Series. The Wales national rugby sevens team competes in the World Rugby Sevens Series, the Rugby World Cup Sevens and in the Commonwealth Games. Wales were the World Cup Sevens Champions after winning the 2009 Rugby World Cup Sevens in the United Arab Emirates. But they relinquished that title after failing to defend their crown at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Moscow.
