Robert Arnold (born November 12, 1988) was an American professional basketball player for Crailsheim Merlins of Germany's Basketball Bundesliga. Personal life Arnold was born in Lancaster, California. He attended Lancaster High School and went on to graduate from Boise State University in Boise, ID. Upon graduation, Arnold went on to have a successful career playing for multiple elite European leagues. Career Arnold played two years for the Boise State Broncos and turned professional in 2011. After that he played two years for the Allianz Swans Gmunden, where he scored 15.5 points per game in his last season. After his stance in Austria, he left for Namika Lahti in the Finnish Korisliiga. After a successful individual season, in which Arnold averaged 18.6 points a game, he signed with the Finnish powerhouse Kataja Basket Club for the 2014–15 season. Robert Jacob "Jake" Arnold (born January 3, 1984, in Santa Rosa, California) is a decathlete from the United States. He represented the United States in the decathlon at the 2007 and 2009 World Championships ranking 13th and 24th respectively. He became the first athlete to win back-to-back NCAA decathlon titles in over twenty years after winning the event in both 2006 and 2007. His personal best in the decathlon is 8253 points, while his indoor heptathlon best is 5909 points. Robert Sterling Arnold (January 26, 1905February 8, 2003) was an American shape note music publisher, singer, composer, singing school teacher, and the cousin of country western singer, Eddy Arnold. Robert was born at Coleman, Texas, Coleman in Coleman County, Texas, the son of Millard Franklin and Rowena Victoria (Lawrence) Arnold. Arnold received his musical training from southern shape note teachers such as Mr. & Mrs. J. H. Carr, W. W. Combs, L. A. Gordon, J. B. Herbert, John A. McClung, Will M. Ramsey, and Frank White. He traveled as a member of several quartets, including the Central Music Company Quartet. He also traveled extensively to teach about 300 shape note singing schools. In 1927, he joined Bill Bynum, Cecil MacDonald, and Bernie Horner to form the Overall Quartet. Sponsored by the J. C.
