Robert A. Corrigan
Robert Anthony Corrigan (born 1935) is an American academic who served as the 12th president of San Francisco State University from 1988 to 2012. Before that, Corrigan served nine years as chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Boston from 1979 to 1988. Early life and education Corrigan attained an A.B. from Brown University and later completed a A.M. (1959) and Ph.D. in American civilization (1967) from the University of Pennsylvania. Career Corrigan has been a provost at the University of Maryland, College Park, and dean at the University of Missouri, in addition to holding faculty positions at the University of Iowa, Bryn Mawr, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Lynne Woolsey
Lynn C. Woolsey (born November 3, 1937) is an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for from 1993 to 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, her district included all of Marin County and most of Sonoma County. She was a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, and was its co-chair from 2010 until her retirement in 2013. Woolsey, who described herself as "the first former welfare mother to serve in Congress," was one of two members of the House known to have previously been on welfare; the other is Congresswoman Gwen Moore (D-WI). On June 28, 2011, Woolsey announced that she would not run for re-election in the 2012 election. She was succeeded in her North Bay district by Jared Huffman. George Waterfield Russell Jr. (born April 1958), known as The Charmer, is an American thief and serial killer responsible for the murders of three women in Seattle over the summer in 1990. After killing his victims, he would mutilate and have sex with the corpses, leaving the bodies posed in bizarre positions at the crime scene. For his crimes, he was sentenced to two life imprisonment terms, and is currently imprisoned at Clallam Bay Corrections Center.
