Robb Denovan (aliases: R. Deadly, Ron Donovan, Robbo Choyan etc.) is an animator from Canada who has won international acclaim for his work. He currently lives in London, England. Robb was born to Jack and Janet Denovan on June 1, 1978, in Carleton Place, Ontario. He attended St. Mary's Public School and Carleton Place High School. Robb studied at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, from 1997 to 2001, and got his first big break as an animator in 2004, when he worked on the Oscar-winning National Film Board of Canada short film ''Ryan''. ''Ryan'' is a 2004 short animated documentary film created and directed by Chris Landreth about Canadian animator Ryan Larkin, who had lived on skid row in Montreal as a result of drug and alcohol abuse. Landreth's chance meeting with Larkin in 2000 inspired him to develop the film, which took 18 months to complete. It was co-produced by Copper Heart Entertainment and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), and its creation and development is the subject of the NFB documentary ''Alter Egos''. The film incorporated material from archive sources, particularly Larkin's works at the NFB. Surly Squirrel is a fictional character created by Peter Lepeniotis and the main protagonist of The Nut Job franchise. He first appeared in the 2005 computer-animated short film ''Surly Squirrel'' and the 2011 short film ''Nuts and Robbers''. He then appeared in the 2014 computer-animated movie ''The Nut Job,'' and its 2017 sequel, '' The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature''. He is voiced by Will Arnett. ''Prince Caspian'' (originally published as ''Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia'') is a high fantasy novel for children by C. S. Lewis, published by Geoffrey Bles in 1951. Robb is a surname of Scottish origin, formed from a diminution (reduction) of the name Robert. Robert was a popular name, especially after its use by three Scots Kings in the fourteenth century.
