Rob Moore (American Football)
Robert Sean Moore (born September 27, 1968) is an American football coach. He is the wide receivers coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). Moore played in the NFL as a wide receiver with the New York Jets from 1990 to 1994 and the Arizona Cardinals form 1995 to 2001. Playing career A 6'3", 202-lb. wide receiver from Syracuse University, Moore played 11 NFL seasons from 1990 to 2001. In 153 games played (146 starts), Moore registered 628 receptions for 9,368 yards and 49 touchdowns. In the 1997 season Moore caught 97 receptions for 1,584 yards and 8 touchdowns and en route to an All-Pro selection. He graduated from Hempstead High School in Hempstead, New York. His younger brother is Linebacker Brandon Moore also played in the NFL. Footage of Moore appeared in the hit movie ''Jerry Maguire''. Hempstead (village), New York
Hempstead is a village located in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, on Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 53,891 at the 2010 census, but by 2019 had reached 55,113 according to the U.S. Census Bureau estimate; it is both the most densely populated and the most populous village in New York. In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from a friendly quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. 1997 NFL Season
The 1997 NFL season was the 78th regular season of the National Football League. The Oilers relocated from Houston, Texas to Nashville, Tennessee. The newly renamed Tennessee Oilers played their home games during this season at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee while construction of a new stadium in Nashville started. Houston would rejoin the NFL with the expansion Texans in 2002. Due to Game 7 of the 1997 World Series, the Chicago Bears–Miami Dolphins game at Pro Player Stadium was delayed one day to Monday, October 27.
