Rob Koll
Rob Koll is an American college wrestling coach. He is currently head wrestling coach at Stanford University. He is the son of Wrestling Hall of Fame member and three-time NCAA wrestling champion Bill Koll. Wrestling career As a wrestler for the University of North Carolina, Koll was a four-time All American, three-time ACC champion, and in 1988 NCAA champion at 158 pounds. After college, he competed internationally in freestyle wrestling. In 1989 he won the Pan-Am Games and was runner-up at the Olympic Festival; he won the U.S. national freestyle championship in 1990 and 1991; took first in the 1990 and 1993 World Cup; placed fifth in the 1991 World Championships; won the 1992 World Cup Grand Prix; and was the alternate for the 1992 Olympic Games. Wrestling is a series of combat sports involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. Wrestling techniques have been incorporated into martial arts, combat sports and military systems. Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association
The Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) is an NCAA Division I collegiate wrestling conference. It held its first championship tournament in 1905, making it the oldest wrestling conference in the NCAA; the charter members were Columbia, Pennsylvania, Princeton, and Yale. Thirty-two different schools have been members of the EIWA during its history, all schools from the Eastern United States. Its current members are schools in the Northeast whose main conferences do not sponsor wrestling, including the Patriot League, America East Conference, Northeast Conference, and Colonial Athletic Association, as well as all of the Ivy League schools that sponsor wrestling. Travis Lee (wrestler)
Travis Lee (born 1983) is a former NCAA wrestler at the 125 lbs and 133 lbs weight class from Cornell University, where he competed for the Cornell Big Red wrestling team under coach Rob Koll. Lee was the first individual NCAA wrestling champion from Hawaii, winning titles in 2003 and 2005 at 125 lbs and 133 lbs, respectively.
