Rob Housler
Robert Gregory Housler Jr. (born March 17, 1988) is a former American football tight end. He played college football at Florida Atlantic and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears and New England Patriots. Early years He was born on March 17, 1988 in El Paso, Texas. He went to high school at Judson HS, and then went to college at Florida Atlantic. Professional career Arizona Cardinals Housler was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round (69th overall) in the 2011 NFL Draft. In four seasons with the Cardinals, he totaled 105 receptions for 1,133 yards and one touchdown. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. NFL Scouting Combine
The NFL Scouting Combine is a week-long showcase occurring every February at Lucas Oil Stadium (and formerly at the RCA Dome until 2008) in Indianapolis, where college football players perform physical and mental tests in front of National Football League coaches, general managers, and scouts. With increasing interest in the NFL Draft, the scouting combine has grown in scope and significance, allowing personnel directors to evaluate upcoming prospects in a standardized setting. 2015 Chicago Bears Season
The 2015 Chicago Bears season was the franchise's 96th season in the National Football League. After the firing of general manager Phil Emery and head coach Marc Trestman following the 2014 season, the team hired former New Orleans Saints director of player personnel Ryan Pace and Denver Broncos head coach John Fox to fill those positions, respectively. 2015 Cleveland Browns Season
The 2015 season was the Cleveland Browns' 63rd in the National Football League, their 67th overall, and the second and final season under the head coach/general manager tandem of Mike Pettine and Ray Farmer. Both Pettine and Farmer were fired on January 3, 2016, after the team failed to improve on their 7–9 record from the previous season, going 3–13 season, tied with the Tennessee Titans for the worst record in the league.
