Rob Ducey
Robert Thomas Ducey (born May 24, 1965) is a Canadian former professional baseball outfielder who played for six teams in Major League Baseball (MLB). Ducey is currently a hitting coach for the Fubon Guardians of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). Career Born in Toronto, Ontario and raised in Cambridge, Ducey graduated from Seminole Community College, and was first signed by the Toronto Blue Jays in . After playing in the Blue Jays' organization from to , he moved on to the California Angels (1992), Texas Rangers (–), Seattle Mariners (–), Philadelphia Phillies (–, 2000-) and Montreal Expos (2001), with a brief return to Toronto in 2000. He ended his 13-year major league career with a .242 batting average and 31 home runs in 703 games. Outfielder
An outfielder is a person playing in one of the three defensive positions in baseball or softball, farthest from the batter. These defenders are the left fielder, the center fielder, and the right fielder. As an outfielder, their duty is to catch fly balls and ground balls then to return them to the infield for the out or before the runner advances, if there are any runners on the bases. As an outfielder, they normally play behind the six players located in the field. By convention, each of the nine defensive positions in baseball is numbered. Designated Hitter
The designated hitter (DH) is a baseball player who bats in place of another position player, most commonly the pitcher. The position is authorized by Major League Baseball Rule 5.11. It was adopted by the American League in 1973 and later by the National League in 2022, making it universal in MLB. Michael Robert "Mickey" Morandini (born April 22, 1966), is an American former professional baseball second baseman and coach, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies, Chicago Cubs, and Toronto Blue Jays. Home Run
In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team. Seminole State College of Florida is a public college with four campuses in Central Florida. It is part of the Florida College System.
