Roar Stokke
Roar Stokke (born 22 August 1959) is a former football player, coach and commentator, from Norway. In the mid-1980s he played for Strindheim IL. Ahead of the 1988 season he left for Nardo FK. In 1993, he was playing head coach of Nardo. In 1994 Nardo barely missed promotion to the Norwegian Premier League, marking the heyday of the club's history. Stokke was offered the position as head coach of Tromsdalen UIL, but refused. However, he resigned from Nardo in September 1995 after disagreements with the board of directors. He was later football commentator in the radio station P4 Radio Hele Norge P4 Radio Hele Norge AS Norway's leading national, private radio station with 24% national market share, about one million daily listeners and two million weekly. Nardo FK
Nardo Fotballklubb is a Norwegian football club from Trondheim. The men's team currently plays in the 3. divisjon, having been relegated from the 2. divisjon in 2021. The club played on the second tier from 1993 to 1996. History The club was formed on 14 January 1971 by a group of former Nidelv IL members. The club played its first season in the 6. divisjon (seventh tier) in 1972, and won promotion the next year. After two decades at amateur level, the club earned some success under coach Roar Stokke, and was promoted from the fourth tier to the second tier, where they were fighting for promotion to Tippeligaen, and achieved a fourth place in the 1993 1. divisjon. Norwegian Premier League
Eliteserien () is a Norwegian professional league for association football clubs. At the top of the Norwegian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Norwegian First Division. Tromsdalen UIL is a Norwegian sports club founded in 1938, from Tromsdalen in the municipality of Tromsø. It has sections for football, athletics, skiing and gymnastics. The men's football team plays in 2. divisjon, the third level in Norwegian football. Their home games are played at Tromsdalen Stadion, which seats 3,000 spectators. Their colors are red and blue. Football The team was promoted to the 1. divisjon in 2003, but was relegated after one season. The club was reintroduced to the second highest flight of Norwegian football, which in the meantime had changed its name to Adeccoligaen, in 2005. TV3 (Norway)
TV3 Norway is a commercial television channel targeting Norway owned by Viaplay Group. It was separated from the earlier Pan-Scandinavian version in 1990. Unlike its main rivals, NRK, TV 2 and TVNorge, the channel does not broadcast from Norway but from West Drayton, Middlesex in the United Kingdom, even if the channel is almost solely aimed at Norwegian viewers. This excludes the channel from the strict rules in Norway that apply to advertising (ban on advertisements aimed at children or interrupting programs). Also unlike the other main channels, it wasn't available on analogue terrestrial, having to rely on satellite and cable television for its distribution. With the launch of digital terrestrial television in October 2007, the channel became available terrestrially. On 3 August 2009 TV3 launched a new visual identity and a new logo.
