Riverstone railway station is a heritage-listed railway station at Riverstone Parade, Riverstone, City of Blacktown, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by NSW Government Railways and William Weaver and built from 1883 to 1939. The station is located on the Richmond line, and is served by Sydney Trains T1 Western and T5 Cumberland line services. The property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. History Two routes to Windsor were proposed in 1846 for the introduction of railways into the colony of New South Wales. The line was built as the first line to be operated as a horse-drawn tramway. Riverstone is an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales. It has been represented by Kevin Conolly of the Liberal Party since 2011. Riverstone High School, is a co-educational, comprehensive high school located on the northwest fringes of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Riverstone High School was established in January 1962 at 71 McCulloch Street, Riverstone. In 1999, the school joined the Nirimba Collegiate, which also includes nearby Quakers Hill High School, Seven Hills High School, and Wyndham College. Riverstone operates from Year 7 through 10. Riverstone Terraces (commonly referred to as simply 'Riverstone') is a suburb of Upper Hutt in the Hutt Valley, New Zealand, Hutt Valley of New Zealand's North Island, perched on a hill previously known as Craig's Flat, above the Hutt River, New Zealand, Hutt River.
