Rise Of The Renegades (2022)
Rise of the Renegades (2022) was a special episode of '' MLW Fusion'' that aired on June 9, 2022. Though it shares the same name as the reoccurring Rise of the Renegades professional wrestling event produced by Major League Wrestling (MLW), the matches featured on the program were taped as part of the Azteca Underground event held at the Gilley's in Dallas, Texas on April 1, 2022. Three professional wrestling matches were contested on the card. The main event was a six-man tag team match, in which King Muertes, Mads Krügger and Richard Holliday defeated The Von Hammers ( Alexander Hammerstone, Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich). On the undercard, Octagón Jr. defeated Matt Cross to retain the Caribbean Heavyweight Championship and Gino Medina defeated Aramis in a Mexican Strap match. Alex Rohde (born January 17, 1991), better known by his ring names Alexander Hammerstone or simply Hammerstone is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Major League Wrestling, where he is the current MLW World Heavyweight Champion in his first reign. Face (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. Such characters are also referred to as blue-eyes in British wrestling and ''técnicos'' in ''lucha libre''. In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a ''rudo'' in '' lucha libre'') is a wrestler who portrays a villain, "bad guy", or "rulebreaker", and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters. Not everything a heel wrestler does must be villainous: heels need only to be booed or jeered by the audience to be effective characters, although most truly successful heels embrace other aspects of their devious personalities, such as cheating to win or using foreign objects. "The role of a heel is to get 'heat,' which means spurring the crowd to obstreperous hatred, and generally involves cheating and pretty much any other manner of socially unacceptable behavior that will get the job done." Aramís is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'' (masked professional wrestler) currently working with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), but also as a freelancer in other Mexican promotions such as International Wrestling Revolution Group, Lucha Memes, and MexaWrestling.
