Rise Again is a song co-written and recorded by DJ Sammy with vocals by Loona. It was released in August 2004 as the first single from the album '' The Rise''. The beginning of the song samples the beginning of "Where the Streets Have No Name" by U2. The song was used in the soundtrack for the film ''It's All Gone Pete Tong''. Music video The video shows DJ Sammy and Loona who was in the early stages of pregnancy. Dallas Holm
Dallas Holm (born November 5, 1948) is an American singer-songwriter of Christian music, whose musical ministry has spanned almost four decades. His 1977 live album, with the group Praise, featured his best known song, "Rise Again". The group consisted of Dallas Holm on acoustic guitar and vocals, Tim and Ladonna Johnson on keyboards and vocals, as well as Randy Adams on bass. Holm's influence has been greatest in contemporary Christian music. While he has had several hit singles in CCM, he is best known for "Rise Again", which is about the resurrection of Jesus. Over the course of Holm's career, he has performed many styles of music including adult contemporary, country, blues, reggae and pop-rock. Holm remains active as the director of praise ministries and is a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. The Dreaming was an American Rock music, rock band founded in the Hollywood, Los Angeles, Hollywood area by Christopher Hall (musician), Christopher Hall, the lead singer of the band Stabbing Westward, and Johnny Haro in 2001. Biography The Dreaming formed in mid 2001 prior the dissolution of Christopher Hall (musician), Christopher Hall's band Stabbing Westward on February 9, 2002. Chris and Johnny Haro, who had briefly filled in on drums in Stabbing Westward in 1998, took to the studio to record demos for his new project. Crush 40 is a Japanese-American hard rock band. The group consists of guitarist and composer Jun Senoue and vocalist Johnny Gioeli, although Senoue has featured other lead vocalists on a Crush 40 album. Crush 40 is best known for their contributions to the ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' video game series. Senoue is employed by Sega as a composer and sound director, and has worked with Sega as a composer since 1993. While preparing music for ''Sonic Adventure'', he contacted Gioeli to record the game's main track, "Open Your Heart". They also recorded the soundtrack for '' NASCAR Arcade'' under the name "Sons of Angels" and released it in 2000 in Japan as the album ''Thrill of the Feel''. Afterward, Senoue and Gioeli stayed in contact and continued to record new music for further ''Sonic'' games, as well as their own original music, and performed live concerts.
