Rio De Janeiro Vôlei Clube
Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube is a women's volleyball team, based in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (state), Brazil. Since the 2021-22 season the club plays under the name Sesc-RJ/Flamengo. History It was founded in 1997 as Paraná Vôlei Clube, playing in Curitiba, Paraná, and moved to Rio in 2003. They were previously known as Rexona-Ades, and since 2012 known as Unilever Vôlei, named after one of the sponsors. Unilever Vôlei won the silver medal at the 2013 Club World Championship after falling 3-0 to Vakıfbank Istanbul. In 2016, Sesc-RJ replaced Unilever's brand Ades as sponsor of the club changing its name to Rexona Sesc-RJ. Following the end of the 2016-17 season, Unilever withdrew its sponsorship completely, leaving Sesc as the sole sponsor of the team In 2020 the club merged previous rival CR Flamengo, and disputed the 2020-21 season under the name 'Sesc/Flamengo'. Ginásio Do Maracanãzinho
Ginásio Gilberto Cardoso or Ginásio do Maracanãzinho, sometimes called just Maracanãzinho ("Little Maracanã" or "Mini Maracanã"), is an indoor arena located in Maracanã in the north zone of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Faders were a British female pop rock band, formed in January 2004 by Polydor Records. Bassist/keyboardist Toy Valentine and drummer Cherisse Osei were the first members to get through the first audition. Sarah Lindsey Pavan (born August 16, 1986) is a Canadian beach volleyball and former indoor volleyball player. She was part of the Canada women's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan.
