Rio Preto Esporte Clube, commonly referred to as Rio Preto, is a Brazilian professional association football club based in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo. The team competes in the Campeonato Paulista Série A3, the third tier of the São Paulo state football league. The club's home colours are white and green and the team mascot is an alligator. History On April 21, 1919, Rio Preto Esporte Clube was founded. In 1999, the club won its first title, the Campeonato Paulista Third Level, beating Oeste in the final. In 2007, Rio Preto for the first time ever was promoted to Campeonato Paulista Série A1. Oeste Futebol Clube, commonly referred to as simply Oeste, is a Brazilian association football club based in Barueri, São Paulo. They currently play in the Campeonato Paulista Série A2, the second division of the São Paulo state football league. Originally from Itápolis in São Paulo state, Oeste was founded on 25 January 1921. They play in black and red shirts, black shorts and red socks. History The club was founded in 1921 by two brothers from Rio de Janeiro. One was a supporter of Flamengo, while the other was a supporter of Fluminense. A training match against an amateur club from the municipality of Fazenda Itaquerê was set to decide if the club would be named Flamengo or Fluminense. Yacare Caiman
The yacare caiman (''Caiman yacare''), also known commonly as the jacare caiman, Spanish yacaré, Paraguayan caiman, piranha caiman, red caiman, southern spectacled caiman, ''jacaré'' in Portuguese, and îakaré in Old Tupi, is a species of caiman, a crocodilian in the family Alligatoridae.
