Riley Bidois
Riley Bidois (born 12 March 2002) is a professional New Zealand footballer who plays as a forward for Dandenong City. Bidois joined the Wellington Phoenix Reserves in 2019 after he was spotted playing in the Western Springs U17 tournament where he was Golden Boot. Before that, Bidois played for Tauranga City in the NRFL Division 1 for two years. During 2020, Bidois also played for Lower Hutt City who were the Wellington Phoenix feeder club, that allowed the Phoenix team and players to play in the Central League portion of the New Zealand National League. He again played for Lower Hutt City in 2021 and was the leagues second top goalscorer with 16 goals behind fellow Phoenix player George Ott. Bidois was first called up to the Wellington Phoenix first team in April 2021 after a number of injuries affected the first team. The Central League is an amateur status league competition run by Capital Football for Association football clubs located in the southern and central parts of the North Island, New Zealand. From 2021 it is at the second level of New Zealand Football below the National League, which has replaced the national association based ISPS Handa Premiership. The National Premier Leagues Victoria 2, commonly referred to as NPL Victoria 2, is a semi-professional soccer league in Victoria, Australia. The league is the second-highest in the Victorian league system, behind the National Premier Leagues Victoria, and forms the third tier of the overall Australian league system. Originally founded as NPL 1 in 2014, it has undergone several changes in competition structure since its inception. New Zealand National League
The New Zealand Men's National League is a men's football league at the top of the New Zealand football league system. Founded in 2021, the New Zealand National League is the successor to the New Zealand Football Championship. The league will be contested by ten teams, with teams qualifying from their regional leagues. Four teams qualify from the Northern League, three qualify from the Central League, two qualify from the newly formed Southern League and the Wellington Phoenix Reserves are automatically given a spot each year. The regional leagues runs from March through to September, with each league having a varying number of games. The Championship phase runs after the completion of the regional phase with each team playing each other once, followed by a grand final.
